Bristol Chaplaincy is excited to be looking for new people to join their growing team and has a number of volunteer opportunities available.

Volunteer Social Media Content Creator
The project has a requirement to increase its profile and presence on social media, to enable it to promote the services we provide and reach a wider audience across the Greater Bristol area. Working with our lead chaplains, you will help to develop a strategy and approach to using social media, identifying the key stakeholders/target audience, frequency, and core content themes and subjects etc. You will then create content weekly and post this across our platforms. Volunteering between 2 - 4 hours per week to fit in around your current schedule.
Volunteer Community Chaplain
We are actively seeking both existing community based chaplains throughout the Bristol area and also people who are interested in becoming a community chaplain.
As a community chaplain, you will provide one-to-one support to people who live in your local community. Meeting in a local cafe or coffee shop, a community chaplain listens and provides support to people who are facing challenges in their lives. Full training will be provided. The number of hours you volunteer each week is flexible.
Volunteer Courts Chaplain
Bristol Chaplaincy will be launching a new chaplaincy service in the Bristol Crown Courts in early 2023 and are currently looking for volunteers to join the courts chaplaincy team.
The courts chaplaincy team will be providing chaplaincy support to Judges, Solicitors/Barristers, other court staff, Jurors, Victims of crime and families of both victims and the accused. The courts chaplaincy team will provide support during business hours every Friday and as a member of the team you will be on a rota providing support for the day every 1 - 3 weeks, depending on your availability.
Volunteer Chaplain - University of Law
Do you have a background in either Law, or Professional Services? Are you interested in joining a team of chaplains at the University of Law? We are looking for a chaplain to join an existing team at the University of law, in Temple Quay, Bristol. The UoL chaplaincy team provide chaplaincy support on site at the UoL every Tuesday between 12:30pm and 2pm.
