Bristol Chaplaincy is excited to be looking for new people to join their growing team and has a number of volunteer opportunities available.

Volunteer Courts Chaplain
We are looking for new volunteers to join our busy and growing team in the Bristol Crown Courts.
Since the beginning of 2023 our team have been providing support in the Bristol Crown Courts every Friday morning. We are now expanding the support we offer to both Monday and Friday mornings.

As a member of the team you will work in pairs with another chaplain to provide support to anyone involved in the courts process. This could be victims of crime, witnesses, defendants, family and friends, barristers, court staff or Judges.

All the training is provided and we are now inviting potential volunteers to a taster day. Join our lead chaplain during one of the Friday sessions and observe first hand how the team works before deciding if you would like to be involved or not. Volunteer Chaplain - University of Law
Do you have a background in either Law, or Professional Services? Are you interested in joining a team of chaplains at the University of Law? We are looking for a chaplain to join an existing team at the University of law, in Temple Quay, Bristol. The UoL chaplaincy team provide chaplaincy support on site at the UoL every Tuesday between 12:30pm and 2pm.

Are you interested in exploring Chaplaincy?
If you are interested in exploring chaplaincy as a possible future ministry for you to be involved in, we would love to help you on your journey of discovery. We would be be happy to meet up for a coffee to talk about chaplaincy and can also recommend a short course that you can take called ‘Exploring Chaplaincy’ that will help you to decide if chaplaincy is for you.
